Terms of Service for WhatsApp Chatbot

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MediaZoo’s WhatsApp chatbot (“Chatbot”). By sending messages to or otherwise interacting with the Chatbot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, stop using the Chatbot.


1. Acceptance of Terms

Use of this Chatbot constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. MediaZoo may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

2. Service Description

The Chatbot provides automated responses, information, and assistance via WhatsApp. It is not a live agent. MediaZoo makes no promises about completeness, accuracy, or availability.

3. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (13 in most places).

  • Have a valid WhatsApp account.

You represent that you are legally allowed to enter into contracts.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate information when requested.

  • Use the Chatbot only for lawful, non-commercial purposes.

  • Not impersonate anyone or share someone else’s personal data without consent.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Do not:

  • Send spam, bulk messages, or unsolicited promotions.

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse any part of the Chatbot.

  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code.

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others.

Violations may lead to immediate suspension or termination of access.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code powering the Chatbot are owned by MediaZoo or its licensors. You get no ownership rights; you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Chatbot without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE CHATBOT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. MEDIAZOO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, or that the Chatbot’s advice or information is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDIAZOO IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE CHATBOT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold MediaZoo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Chatbot.

10. Termination

MediaZoo may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in the courts of Cape Town. You and MediaZoo each waive any right to a jury trial.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We’ll post updates here with a new “Last updated” date. It’s on you to review them—continued use means you accept any changes.
